My first thought was that your shirt transferred some sweat onto the tool leading to the rust. The hypothesis I've heard from some galoots (not sure I believe it) is that some folks have more corrosive sweat than others. Supposedly, these guys have known 'that one guy' around the shop that rusts anything metal he touches, when nobody else does. I think the real problem is that we are all ugly bags of mostly water - leaky ones to boot. Michael |
