18042 <BohlB@A...> 1997‑05‑09 bio repost
I figured that I should finally repost my bio. So, as originally
sent to oldtools January 19, 1996:

Hi,

I'm Bill Bohl, a casual woodworker and obsessive tool accumulator.
Over the last few years I have built up a good working set of
hand tools to supplement a meager set of power tools (no TS,
jointer or planer). Most of my planes are not pretty, but
work well. I have dabbled in woodworking over the last
ten years or so. Lately I've mainly, concentrated on fine
tuning my joinery skills. My biggest problem is time. Doing
what I'm doing now really doesn't help, but I've gained a lot
following rec.woodworking. Now that I've found oldtools, I'll
likely spend most of my time here. Although I like using my RAS
and drill press, I find working with chisels and planes very
relaxing. I guess it helps reduce stress.

In general I'm pretty quiet. This is probably reflected in my
tendency to observe more than post. This tendency could also
be due to my limited woodworking experience. I will jump in
though if I feel I have something constructive to add (or ask).

My other major interests are in electronics, metals, antiques,
and the outdoors. I'm married, have two kids and reside in
Alabama. Oh yeah, by trade I'm a mechanical design engineer.

Bill Bohl
