Athletics at Red Sox, 15-September-2005

The final road trip to Boston for the A's, one game back in the AL West at game time. The game features the best rookie pitcher in baseball (by VORP, Joe Blanton is number 1 in the majors and A's closer Huston Street is number 3). Blanton holds baseball's best offense to just 6 hits and 2 runs in 6 and a third innings and the A's offense gets three runs in the first two innings to keep Boston at bay.
