Hi Peter,

I've been looking for a manual that is more complete than the one
Stanley published for years. Does this one go into more detail?
If so, I'd like to see it.

With Record still in business (they are, aren't they?) you might
be prepared for copyright problems from them. I would consider
writing and asking permission first, although there's a lot to say
for the theory that it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission,
in most instances...

As to posting a bio, the list is fairly informal, but we all appreciate
bio's. It helps to know something about a person's frame of reference.

Regards,

I have a Record Multi-plane No 405 and the user's manual for it (dated
1960).
This plane is pretty much a clone of the Stanley 45.

I could scan the manual and publish it on my web site, if people thought it
useful. Any interest in that idea? Everyone happy with Acrobat/pdf format?
