to catch up with you one in "N'Awlins"!

Great idea on the front bun thought! That never occurred to me. When you get
yours done I hope you post a picture of it.

Regarding the issue of adding a nicker to the LN Rabbet, I had the same
thought since he offers it as an option on the #140 version that he makes as
well. I'm glad to hear that you suggested it to him. I may contact them and
ask as well. Maybe that will help with the "enough interest" thing.

	I also recently decided my life would be incomplete without the
LN Rabbet.  When I opened the box it just jumped out at me that it needs
something a little nicer up front than that brass screw.  I figured you
had the same idea and I was expecting to see just that while I waited
for the picture to open.  Woops, two great ideas, two different ideas.  

	I was thinking of a small square rosewood bun ala Norris or
Spiers.  Different strokes, I guess...
	Anyway, it's on my Round-To-It list.

	BTW, when I ordered it I asked if they would mill a slot for a
nicker like the new 10 1/4 Rabbet plane.  Tom said if they get enough
interest they'll start doing it and that I could send mine back to be
retro-fitted at that time.  Hope that happens soon.
