Nichael and other Gentle Ones,

I don't know if I would use a magnet....  it could magnetize the saw blade
which might then pick up any iron filings (from your SS efforts) and then
spoil a real sweet piece of wood you were sawing by leaving the dreaded black
streaks.  Just my 2 cents....  still out in Nukeville.....   missing all the
auction fun back east.....
