Galoots,

Here are some more details on this year's galootapalooza (7/31-8/1):

Saturday's flee market excursion is in Batavia. Gill Chesbro
will be properly handicapped this year. I'll buy the first
set of horse blinders we see. (Last year Gill snagged a minty
fresh 112 for $60 at this same flea market.)

Saturday's cookout will be in Rolling Meadows at Yankee C*llector
Jerry Serviss' place.

Sunday's MWTCA/EAIA/EIEIO meet is at Garfield Farm in LaFox.
You *don't* have to be a member to attend. One of the faithful
will be able to get you in.

Highlights will include a trip to my garage/shop (two miles
from Jerry's place). On display will be my brand new European
workbench made from bowling alley maple. It sports the
Woodcraft Emmert clone vise SWMBO'ed gave me for Christmas
last year.

Directions, schedules and more useful information can be found at
http://www.mcs.net/~brendler/oldtools/galootapalooza/
It is *almost* as informative as the Oldtools FAQ.

We have galoots coming in from all over for this event.
So far we have representatives from Michigan, Georgia, Kentucky,
Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana and even a Canadian galoot. Let me or
Ralph Brendler know if you can attend.

This will be your last public reminder - Don't be left out!

As Russ has pointed out, I will finally be hosting the Saturday
evening food and drink event.

If you are planning on being there, drop me a note so that I can
plan accordingly.
