Well, I say for certain that there is such a thing as cherry pallets.  I
have dis-
mantled several, they seem to mostly come from the Kodak factory in
Rochester,
NY.

Also, one of my neighbor's had a dead black walnut cut down and I had to
rescue the wood from another neighbor who was busy splitting it up for
firewood.  He found it much easier to split than Chinese elm.
