I'll miss FMM from the spectator point of view but what the heck. Why don't we give FMM Every Day a month and see how it goes? GG's; How about WTBWednesday and FSSaturday? The sellers could look over the Want To Buys before finalizing their For Sale lists ... and it's a compromise between the free-for-all and once-a-month camps. Roger Harrer (never having bought or sold anything on the porch, yet) | |||

I'm usually pretty quiet, mostly just lurk in the corner and soak up the wisdom of ther ancients. But, I want to throw in my two cents on this idea. I think an everyday FS: free-for-all would create quite a mess. I can imagine getting 6 or 8 Indexes per day full of 80 item FS:s. A few small FS:s would be ok but I don't think that's what it would become. My preference is to keep OldTools mostly just like it is and start another separate list for FS:s on this new list FS:s and WTBs would be allowed anytime. If a dealer wanted to post an updated list hourly, no problem. This list could be unmoderated, and totaly automatic. I may be suggesting the impossible but, it sounds good on paper. :) Meanwhile back at OldTools, WTB:s could be allowed anytime, and small two or three item FS:s would be OK I would also prefer that FMM be unchanged, I LIKE the frenzy. Although I would like to see it changed to Saturday, to cut down on competition from all those who only have e-mail at work. <Very Big Grin> In the event of accidental ingestion, consult a mortition.
