This paragraph should be taken very seriously by all new and
proto-galoots.

My mom, who is a wise lady having been married to a galoot for 38 +
years has been working on SWMBO, trying to convince her that she
doesn't have to know everything about her husband. In fact, life is
much smoother if you DON'T know EVERYTHING as galoots do
occassionally do things that SWMBO's question the sanity of. I'm not
sure my wife was convinced. There are galootish things my father and
I did together that my mother still is unaware of.

On the other hand, I took my Mom wood shopping with me while she
was visiting 2 weeks back. As I struggled with whether or not to add
another 8' 8/4 piece to my purchase she said "Your not like your father
was .... he would buy it and two more just in case". Thus, I figure my
judgement is perfectly reasonable and SWMBO should just let me go
quietly about with nary a worry .... besides she doesn't know what a
magnetic anomaly looks like. On the other hand I should pick up a few
more woodies to keep the confinement barrier stable just in case ....
