Yard sale today. I got 2 old saws.
A Disston D-8 and a no name warranted superior
Buck apiece.

   The Disston got me 4 large brass saw screws in perfect condition. 
plus medallion
The Warren-n-Ted got me 3 small ones, plus medallion.
These are dynamite because they are backsaw sized.

   Both are good taper ground blades. So I am looking at a whole sack of 
new to me scrapers!
I love the older taper ground saws, because I need whispy thin "tip" 
scrapers (ever so flexible) and "heavy butt" scrapers too.

   As a side issue I have 2 spare saw totes for when someone is 
desperate for one.
Both are in fairly good shape.

   The yard sale was 6 miles up the creek, which makes it expensive,
  but I got some --really-- good hugs and got to spend time with old 
friends catching up.
   So that alone was good value for my fuel.
