How long would it take to draw everything in your shop? This strikes me as an equally beautiful and obsessive way to memorialize a loved one. http://ifixit.org/blog/7284/artist-draws- workshop/">http://ifixit.org/blog/7284/artist-draws-workshop/ |

> > Re: Drawing ** everything** in his late grandfather's shop ...every single screw nut and bolt is a bit obsessive I think. That's what the post suggests the artist is going to do- he even says that "if there are multiples"...then he'll " draw them all" Then again, if one of my loved ones had to draw every single plane, hammer, and saw I have, yikes, that would take years, let alone my jars of mis matched weird threaded nuts and bolts and other junk I don't throw out (I know I'll need it the week after I throw it out- D'OH!!!! Why does that always happen?) Claudio |

I got the impression that he was drawing every single thing. I 'spect it would take a while to draw each of the 3 pounds or so 1 inch cut nails, and then each of the 5 pounds of 3/4 inch cut nails. Then somewhere over 100 chisels. Everything in the shop? Makes my head hurt to think about. Mike in Sacto |
