251304 <ecoyle@t...> 2014‑10‑22 photos of the rusty millwright tools
I got gently spanked for not posting photos of my gloat of a few days ago.....

But, remember, God invented time for not letting everything happen at once, says
cowtown spitting into the spitoon on the porch
anyway here’s a link to some of them....the levels are not imaged, coming later

Obviously the planes are pooched, but tossed into the acquisition for parts
value.

The #4 represents the upper limits of the worst rust in the bottom of the
boxes....There were recognizable tools in the rust-just really too far gone!

The starrett trammel point set is slated for clean up. I’m curious about the box
though. ....original or user fabricated.

Thje two linear “stamping tools” are metal seaming tools for hammering down
seams....only two sizes....another slippery slope....

And that tool between the wrench and the bevel gauge is an Australian “double
click” torque wrench. As if I need one, Just too gizmositative I guess. Never
wanted to be a wrench collector.

It ain’t like me to gloatitate (a verb) about an adjustable wrench, but this is
24” wrench so that user-made bevel gauge is about the same length and well made,
needs a repair or two.

And that soldering iron ain’t exactly whimpy either.....

I got a penchant for “samurai tools”....I ain’t transferred this one to flickr
yet, but it joins other samurai tools.....
