Hello, All. I have come across quite a few of these 3-sided scrapers, sometimes
factory made, or, ground from a flle.It seems like every machinist box I have
ever dug through had such a tool, mostly used for de-burring. I have attached a
link , here they are calling it a Burr Knife. Starrett made a burnisher, No.
810, oval in shape & has a smooth polished surface, for turning edges on a
scraper.This was referred to as a scraper burnisher, not because it had a dual
use, but referred to what it was used for.Regards, Lou
