IMHO, the three corner tool is machinist's scraper, a burnisher would have highly polished surface s I have made both from 3cnr file. Used as bearing scraper, burring tool, etc. Never seen store bought one, in my 70 odd years, but don't mean three weren't any! |

Have a machinst scraper down at the shop I- remember my dad using it to get rid of a burr on the lathe- an old SouthBend. Check over in the metal working forums for more info.
