Hi All:

I inherited some old tools from my father-in-law. I am trying to find out more
about a wooden folding extension rule, 72", with a brass extension. The brand
name is Gold-Win.

I have thoroughly searched the internet but haven't been able to find anything.
Is this a rare item or a common inexpensive rule? The rule has to be at least 35
years old. It could use a cleaning but I have not cleaned it. I have seen one
mention to clean wooden items with mineral spirits. Is this okay to do?

 I have found plenty of Lufkin folding rules but nothing on Gold-Win.
