seeing a mention here thought, so I thought I would pass the news along.

I know it has been a while since I last posted regarding Tom Law. I just
recently learned that Tom passed away on July 18, 2012 after an extended
illness. I like many learned of Tom through on eof the old tools forums
and sent him several saws to sharpen. At some point I gave Tom a call as
I had a question and from that point on I had a new and very good
friend. Tom was an expert on handsaws but that was just the tip of the
iceberg of a man of many talents and a very kind and humble demeanor. I
consider myself fortunate to have met and been befriended by him.
