Up for sale is one lot of mixed items. First is three (3) DASTRA brand, cranked neck chisels and one gouge. The gouge is marked No. 8 and the chisels are marked in mm for a nominal size of 3/8" and =BD". Also pictured is a PIKE Washita stone with a very poor label on the face. The stone has been used on the reverse side. It is in a CARBORUNDUM brand box that originally contained a Silicon Carbide stone. Lastly is a Goodell Pratt push drill with all of the bits shown in the picture plus one modern twist bit in the handles. This is really a nice tool in fine, sued shape. But I have no interest or use in it. $55.00 plus shipping. For those who know better--please correct me if I'm misleading anyone here; for those who don't know..... That Washita Pike stone can really be a fantastic sharpening stone. I acquired one last year and it has provided superb service--being able both to cut metal rather quickly (I have water stones, too) or to really hone the edge to a fine level of sharpness (my guess--about 1500 grit equiv.). So, if you've been looking for a golden oldie Ark. stone, here potentially is a great one.=A0 Oh, and I know the difference between a Washita and a black surgical or hard transluscent, as well.=A0 ________________________________ From: The WWL <thewwl@optonline.net> To: Old Tools List <oldtools@r...> Sent: Thursday, August 2, 2012 11:33 PM Subject: [OldTools] FS Mixed Lot Dastra Chisels, PIKE Washita Stone and GP Push Drill Up for sale is one lot of mixed items.
