Dial A Drill!

Just a quick report on some of that old galoot magic. Recently, uber galoot
Steve Reynolds posted about a need for a certain Millers Falls ratcheting
screwdriver. I happened to have one in the spares drawer, not exactly what
Steve was after, but apparently close enough. So I sent it to him. We
exchanged several pleasant messages and that was that. Good times. Just as
MANY galoots have done for me in the past. But then a Priority Mail box
showed up on MY porch, and it was from Steve. You gotta see this thing.
Dial A Drill is about the niftiest drill index I've seen, and since the
example Steve sent me is in the original protective package, it's like
brand new:

Basically, Dial A Drill works like the rotating top of a push drill. You
spin the lid around to access the different sizes. But the shiny steel
canister actually houses multiple layers of tubes, so it holds a LOT of
drill bits. Anyway, it's very, very cool, something I'd never seen before,
and it nows sits proudly in my shop. (Steve notes that this tool has passed
through the hands of more than one other galoot, as well, so it has a
serious pedigree.) Thanks again, Steve!
