I carve with the work in one hand and my chisel in the other while 
sitting down. Although sometimes I get confused and put the chisel into 
the hand holding the work. Last time I did that (last weekend) I put on 
a huge band-aid, then put a padded glove on. I still managed to drive 
the chisel through the glove, through the bandage, and right into the 
same spot as before. Accuracy in small groups is considered a sign of 
distinction in shooting, I wonder if it has some significance here.
