Hi Adam,
The scans are from the "Handsaw Catalog Collection" which is an Astragal
Press collection of catalog reprints [Atkins 1919 catalog, Disston 1918
catalog, Simonds 1910 catalog,and Spear & Jackson 1915 Catalogue]  (I
got my copy from fleabay)
So I think both your saws are fairly old, and its really great to see
them in such good condition and with such good etches (instead of the
usual dark rust complexion).
If they were mine, I'd touch them up with a file to keep them sharp, use
them regularly, and smile every time while remembering G-Grandpa.
