Hi, I picked these up just after xmas for =A330 made by Heilds of Nottingham and bought in Nottingham, so they haven't moved much in 130 years. http://s86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/maddpete/?action=view&cu- rrent=DSC_0021-2.jpg http://s86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/maddpete/?action=view¤t=DS- C_0019-1.jpg http://s86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/maddpete/?action=view¤t=DS- C_0020-1.jpg So I am the 4th owner I am planning on using them which might be a shame as they look unused at the moment. Congrats Pete, they sure are lovely. Are Heilds hard to find? Will it be difficult to locate some matching hollows? I picked Mathieson for my (still incomplete) set because they seemed reasonably easy to find... regards, Peter in Brisbane, Australia, where the fire is on for a chilly morning. Hi, Peter I fear it will be hard to find a matching set in as good condition. I have a search running on the 'bay but it isn't turning up much. I don't think Heilds where a large producer of planes. I can't even find the link I had about them! I do have other hollows and rounds, not complete set but getting there. Hi, I picked these up just after xmas for =A330 made by Heilds of Nottingham and bought in Nottingham, so they haven't moved much in 130 years. END SNIP Lovely indeed. Especially the furry black one. He really carries his age well, but, as you say, he doesn't look like he is moving much. J ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | |||
