I was late to the show today, as we had to be in downtown Toronto for
9 am so David could receive his Silver Duke of Edinburgh award  from
the Lt Governor of Ontario (Her Majesty's representative in these parts).

By the time we got home it was 2 pm.  Most yard sales only run till noon
around here, but I spotted a couple still in progress on the drive through
town.  After I ditched the shirt & tie I drove back to where I saw the sales.
Nothing at the first one.  The second was good.

I picked up 13 brand new Nicholson screw-on file handles (3 large, 5
medium, and 5 small), 3 new hammer handles, a 1/2 inch Eskiltuna
socket chisel sans handle (well, what did you expect after picking up
that many *extra* handles), an old fixed blade knife (raw material for
my friend Rob who does a lot of knife-making), a box of number and
letter stamps (random stuff, no full sets, oh well), a small caliper rule,
and ten pounds of used carbide cutters.  All this for $20.  No argument
from me, just fish out a 20 and hand it over.

My wood turning friends will all get a handful of carbide cutters so they
can make up their own custom scrapers.  Any other ideas for these
carbide pieces?  I could not pass them up, and now I need an excuse.
