229157 Steve Jones <stjones@k...> Apr-20-2012 My first rivet!
GGs;

When the handle pulled off my Olsen coping saw, I first thought of
epoxy. But all the talk of knife and screwdriver scales got me
thinking about trying a rivet. Someone on the porch mentioned that a
wire coat hanger could be used, so I found a fairly heavy one. After
drilling a snug hole through the handle, I cut off a piece of the wire
and ground the ends flat, leaving about 1/8" extra length. A couple
of minutes with a ball pein hammer and the flat on the back of my
machinist's vise. and I had a new uncle named Bob. Handle's tight
too.

Thanks for all the knowledge and advice.

Steve
