While generally acccepted as axiomatic, an unidentified woodworking tool
is gemerally accepted as being a leatherworking tool. The axiom
generally holds true, but the URL listed below begs to add a corollary
to that axiom. An unidentified woodworking tool, not otherwise
ID=E2=80=99d as a leatherworking tool either, may be a Piano or
instrument makers tool!

Great site, with some good links. LOTS of old tools shown, many of which
were new to me.

What prompted this find was a Lyons and Healy pliers at a garage sale.
They made (?still make) harps in Chicago. Enjoy
