184300 "andy baughn" <badandy0442@c...> Nov-01-2008 Shop Class
When we took woodshop there was a sweatshirt hanging on the wall. The
sleeve was all torn up. Every so often Mr Plew would point to it and tell
how the disk sander/belt sander/drill press did it. It changed all the
time. Turns out it belonged to a friend of mine and we got him to tell what
happened. He said it was the belt sander.

8th graders took metals. I remember the concertmaster from orchestra class
made a little toolbox. So I got to metals class and they have changed it.
They divided it into stations. Foundry/welding/sheet metal bending/tapping
a nut and bolt. It was pretty much a disaster. My sheet metal box came out
all crooked. I couldn't see a thing in the arc welding booth and messed up
my initials. The nut and bolt were all crooked. Some kids bashed a quarter
for half an hour and when it fell on the floor I picked it up for them and
burned my fingers. My casting wasn't too bad and I did great at making the
giant plastic key. I'm better with wood I guess.

Bad Andy
