Thanks for all the responses.
I was looking for something quite flamboyant since my furniture really
isn't too bad these days.
I wanted something I could inlay into say the back of the back leg which
may be visible from time to time so really didn't want to do the branding.
I have been taking lessons from Garrett Hack off and on for the last year
or so and I know he uses morse code in his inlay, I believe Mr Becksvoort
uses a silver dollar, I don't want to take the time to carve something, my
carving is not that good anyway.
I figured a little cast silver medallion maybe 1/2" to 3/4" in diameter would
be discrete and classy and I thought it may be easiest but i'm not so sure
now. I know for $300-400 I could get a supply of small medallions custom
made which would probably last me a lifetime... still thinking...

Thanks for the ideas, plenty to chew on, have fun - John

Bugbear; I recall watching Blue Peter years back where they featured the
guy who carved the little mice... Peter Purvis and Leslie Judd wasn't it?
Old content - we only had a black and white tv back then... no tools!
