I will add one thing to my earlier comments.

When I am learning a new skill I take my time and do the best I can. Slow
with the correct technique is faster in the long run because you don't have
to unlearn poor technique.

Yup, superb essays on workmanship. Loved them. Thanks guys.

Except there is one more last dimension neglected.
I am now, at this time of life, a lazy cranky bastard who knows that
when the chips are down and the s--t hits the fan, and everybody else
nearby takes a large step backwards, ............ is when you wake up
to give the true attention to detail that is required until the deed is
done.
The rest of the time?? Don't bother me.
Fretting over the best, -all- the time is enough to worry the wart off
a cinderblock.
You take it as it comes and do what you have to, and what you want to do.
The seconds of your life are ticking by and,
make the best of that.
 yours Scott
