17675 <asender@n...> May-05-1997 FS: infill smoother fixer-upper


This needs some work, the infill is held in place by some screws through
the sole, which operation needs redoing, and you'll need to get a blade for
it from one of the usual places.

A bronze Scottish owner-completed smoother w/ brown infill, 2 1/4" blade
made in Sheffield not really any useable length left, I mean you could, but
not for long and I'm not sure how effectively as it has a very shallow
bevel.  The front infill is low and plain.  The lines are round and sleek.
The mouth is just under 7.5 mm measured from below.  An even sprinkling of
dings and scratches.  $150

I will happily send a long overly-detailed description on request, I'd like
to be sure whoever gets this is happy with it, but I can't offer the usual
terms, as I will be leaving for an extended trip in a few weeks.

I will consider any lower offers if I still have the plane once the smoke
clears. . .  :-)
