Cool driveby!! Heh, heh.  Scott only has a couple of his monster 
mallets still available. If you have any idea of ever getting one, you 
better hurry! I doubt that he is going to make any more.

I made my own, and they really are the real deal for heavy duty chisel 
bashing. Almost anything that is as hard or harder than the chisel 
handle is going to tear up your handle.

Having done the custom making of these mallets, I can't recommend that 
most galoots try to do it. It requires a lot of tools that most of us 
are not going to own, including machine tools. Just buy one from Scott.

I am really happy with my mallets.
