Had the same problem with Grampa's old Goodell-Pratt. Some brat punk
kid lost the cap waaay years back. Ultimate solution? Bought another
just like it, took the cap for use on the old one, and consigned the
wreckage of the new one to the Crypt of Forgotten Tools. Fortunately,
the grains were a close match. I knew I'd be stuck with one junker, and
since the old one had sentimental value, the new one got the axe. It
was no trouble to find a replacement BTW, I just put a 'Wanted" message
right on this-here Porch, and I soon had several to choose from. Good
luck- Jim Lemon
