Dear Galoots, Sheffield woodworkers

I am looking for any information about the Andrews company from
Sheffield. Their steel has been exported to Japan during the 19th
century and is still in use now. But it is becoming a scarce resource.

I would like to know what type of steel has been exported to Japan, when
exactly and for what purpose, what price...

Any other information would be much welcome.
