I bought the head for my joiner's hammer from Dan Comerford,
co-author of "The Hammer: The King of Tools", at a PATINA meeting. He
called it a German pattern. We agreed that it looked like a smith
made tool and who knows how old. It was the end of the day and he
sold it to me for $2. I love PATINA - you can get some real bargains 
there.

Okay, as far as storage goes, nothing of a revolutionary nature
here. I'm enjoying this thread, I do like seeing how others store
