Two recent threads on Disston have repeated a frequent question I have never
seen answered on the porch.  Maybe an unknown trivial thing, but...

When did Disston drop the fancy logo handle screw and switch to one saying
just "Disston  USA"?

I've passed up a couple of those, thinking they were post-war.  Are they
still the same good saws?
