GG’s Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I have a “finish” question. Many years ago the former SWMBO and I purchased a maple worktable from Williams Sonoma. It is not a true butcher-block table, although most people take it for one. It is made up from "2 by" material glued up on-edge. Anyway, for upkeep Williams Sonoma supplied a green scotchbrite pad along with a small can of urethane paste to apply when needed. Since the table has functioned only as a storage table and now a breakfast table it has not "needed" very often. I like the way that the finish goes on and the hard satin luster that it leaves. So, what exactly is a “urethane paste” and where can I get more? The information on the can is as follows: Taylor Woodcraft 121 “TM” Finishing Paste with extra urethane It also has an "NSF" logo (NSF Testing Laboratory, Ann Arbor, Michigan) on the back. I’ve searched the internet for Taylor and 121, etc., to no avail. Since I understand enough about finishes to be dangerous I thought that I would ask those with greater wisdom. Thanks in advance.
