Cheney Bell Face Nail Holding Hammer. Two ball bearings are spring
loaded to hold the nail in position in this 1927 patented hammer. The
condition is good with the name being legible, but the patent date is
obscured by some roughness on the side of the head. There are no chips
on the inner corners of the claws where this hammer is usually
damaged. Some very minor damage near the maker's name. The handle is
original with the original factory stamp and a partial label. Overall
this is an excellent example of a rare patented hammer. Another fine
example of a tool produced by Collins.. ... .... .....$65

#12 1/4 Beautiful little scraping plane, extremely rare. Top shelf..for
#use or display. 99% japanning clean and crispy! It's the little brother
#to the 12 series of scrapers, but with the full range of movement found
#in it's bigger siblings. Only 2 1/2 " wide; this miniscule demon can
#really make curlies out of any wood. A real joy to use, I have one in
#my arsenal of scrapers and have no qualms about using it. It's a tough
