    I took the minimalist route.  Just drilled a couple of holes and
used brads to hold the blade in place.  Seems to work fine, no apparant
flexing.  It would be interesting to have someone do the comparison
between a mounted one and an unmounted one.  That someone could be me,
but not anytime soon.  Got cabal activities to attend to.
