104540 michael recchione <michael_recch Mar-14-2002 hickory for clamps (was: hickory springs)
Kirk talked about how to make sure hickory stays
flexible without breaking. The fact that it is so
flexible made me wonder if the hickory I picked up to
make handscrew jaws out of was a bad choice. Is
hickory too flexible to make a good handscrew jaw?
I'm talking pieces about 1 1/2" square.

Thanks,

- Mike in Nutley, NJ
