Hello Galoots- I am a newcomer to the list, and have had several folks ask for a bio. I'm not sure what is required, but I'll give a little info about myself and add more later if needed. I live near Stephenville, Texas and work in Fort Worth. I've done metal work of some type off and on for the past 25 years, sometimes as a hobby and sometimes for a living. Right now I make bridle bits for horses to support my other hobbies. You can see my work at www.mrgbits.com. I dabble a little in blacksmithing and knifemaking when I have time. My interest in old tools is primarily in blacksmithing tools, mostly hammers. Most of the imported stuff available today ain't worth picking up, so I try to buy older tools and recondition them. I don't consider myself a serious collector, most of my tools I buy to use. That is about all I have to say about me. I might add that I do like to fish and drink beer. Thanks for letting me join in. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp | |||
