-474 matt <mattkat@j...> Dec-31-1969 that bio I mentioned...

Hi all,

So now for that bio I mentioned before. Before I begin though, was there
mention of a bio in the faq? Yes I really did read (most :) of it. I had
to figure out what SWMBO meant.

I didn't spend much time lurking under the porch. I don't like the dark,
cobwebs, or all those bodies I kept bumping into down there. From the
sounds of it, I should be wearing diapers compared to the rest of you all
<g>, maybe crawling around that rocking chair everyone talks of offering up
to the next oldest galoot. I'm in my mid twenties and don't have much of a
career yet in woodworking or anything else. I tried software engineering,
had to pay off those damn school loans, but didn't like the hours, the
co-workers, nor was there enough of a challenge most times. Since then
I've done a fair number of different odd jobs, as many as possible out in
the sunlight, frequently working with adolescents in the
outdoor/environmental education field.

A couple of years ago I was living at a farm with a guy that got me hooked
on carving a wooden bowl. Primarily he had gouges and chisels to loan out
to me to use. Well I eventually found a couple of planes to play with and
have been accumulating stuff here and there since. The career thing is
often an issue in that the lack of one qualifies me as poor. I haven't
used too many tailed demons for wood or much of anything lately. For the
last 2.5 years or so, most of my living accomadations have been off the
grid. Using someone elses el*ctr*ns to say I don't use el*ct*ns to a bunch
of folks that make a point to save some el*ctr*ns in the shop, only to use
them to talk about saving them, strikes me as ironic to say the least.
However the resource of information available dispatching these el*ctr*ns
is certainly worth it to me. Plus my current boss is footing the bill for
the el*ctr*ns.

So that is my bio in a nutshell.

Cheers,

matt

Going to haul some water right now...
